Speech language therapists evaluate our patients for their ability in swallowing, speaking, or communicating in any way. They help the patients to better communicate and determine what types of foods or food textures are best. Occupational therapists evaluate the patient’s ability to accomplish their activities of daily living to perform normal everyday tasks that are commonly performed, such as bathing, getting dressed, brushing teeth and feeding themselves.
